In your diet, you want to eat foods that are high in protein, such as lean meat, fish, and eggs. My favorite meal is grilled chicken with lettuce and tomato. It’s pretty incredible, very healthy and very simple to make as well.
One of the problems people have when learning how to get ripped is that they think eating healthily involves tons of preparation and is boring food. Well, this couldn’t be further from the truth! Preparing my healthy food takes 5 minutes, and I don’t feel bloated after!
Pick Up Some Weights
Strength training is massive when it comes to learning how to get six pack abs. Your metabolism controls how much fat you burn whilst resting. Muscle uses up more energy than fat. The more muscle you have, the more calories you’ll burn. Simple isn’t it?
So get down the gym, stop doing poor quality, long cardio workouts and start lifting heavy weights.
You shouldn’t be in the gym any longer than 1 hour, and 3 sessions a week will help you to pack on lean muscle mass, raising your metabolism and forcing your body to burn more fat.
Consume a Boatload of Water
Guys, I cannot tell you how important water is when it comes to learning how to get abs. Water has no calories and actually helps to flush out any excess water weight you may be carrying around your abs. It is normally recommended to drink 8 glasses a day, but if you want to lose fat, then you should drink between 10-14.
Water also helps to increase your metabolism, and like I said, no calories, so have as much as you want!
